Whistle While You Work

Progress has been made on the new house. William is a work horse and gets the job done. He has taken over the painting with Claire as his biggest helper. I think almost everything is primed and ready for color. Today we let the kids pick out their paint for their rooms. We had to tame the colors down a bit, but I think everyone is happy with their choices. We are trying to go more neutral and not so bright this time around....also no yellow in our new house. My job has been getting all those tiny staples out of the floor so we can lay hardwood floors. It is a long tedious job, but I'm almost done. Hooray! Tomorrow morning our water will be turned on and hopefully we will find no more leaks. The plumbers came today and made quick work of the leaks we had already found. It's amazing how something which seemed so horrible and huge can be fixed so easily by someone skilled in that area.

Tomorrow is Claire's and Jane's first swim meet and then we'll be working on the house again. Oh what fun!
