Almost 8 Months Old!

Breaking news! Eleanor has successfully transitioned from sleeping in a playpen in our room to sleeping in a crib in her own room, which she shares with Jane, the room - not the crib. Now this does not mean she is sleeping through the night. She begins the night in her own bed, comes to my bed for some midnight snackin' and then goes back to her bed when I wake up in the morning and she's still sleepy. I can't leave her to sleep alone in my bed any longer since she is crawling and does not understand the concept of falling off the bed and bonking her head. She'll get it one day.

Not to toot my own horn, but I want to share I have successfully figured out how to once again easily upload pics to this here blog. Hip, hip, hooray! What a gloriously wonderful evening it is!

Hope your Sunday was as enjoyable as ours was here at the Bird House. We attended church, gorged ourselves on unhealthy Halloween candy collected at the zoo's Spook-tacular and our church's Trunk-or-Treat, laughed while we browsed through hundreds of pictures from the last six years and took lots of photos to document our laziness this cool fall afternoon. Sure was nice having a day off from all the craziness of the week.

Such an adorable baby!!!. You could get a hundred million $$ for her, easy. She's the first thing I'd buy if I won the lottery. Of course, you're probably going to tell me that she's not for sale. That's why I don't bother playing the lottery.

she is a doll, marie! we finally put sammy in his crib too. now I sleep with daddy again and all is well with the world. Though, I must say I missed the smaller, much less stretchy/kicky, non-snoring sleepmate!!!

We have no ugly grandchildren in the whole bunch and Eleanor is no exception - absolutely beautiful, inside and out! No bragging, just the facts.
